If you're in Melbourne, Australia you can find out when your tram is coming - via your Android smart phone. With tramTRACKER® for Android from Yarra Trams you can check real-time tram arrival information for any tram stop in Melbourne.

tramTRACKER® uses the latest real-time technology to let you know when your tram is due to arrive at your stop, so you know when to be there. If there's a major delay or disruption you'll find out about that as well.

I can only agree with others. The tram timings are just rubbish. I have no idea how it can be so bad. Right now, it said the 96 is in 14, 20 and 20 mins. I waited a minute, refreshed the app and it then said now, 20 and 21. Rush to the stop, a one minute walk and now it says 4,20,21. How can that possibly be. Come on, you can do better.

the tram tracker app doesn't work with roaming data (I can easily access PTV and Metro Notify, so it's an issue with this app), whereas tram information loads instantly with data from a local SIM. So it's almost useless for tourists.

When it works it's ok. However sometimes it said a tram is coming but suddenly it disappeared from your screen. Other times especially early in the morning, the tram you normally takes not showing on the screen, you wondered if there's something wrong with the tram and it got cancelled or what; then 10 minutes later it reappeared on the schedule. Currently it hasn't been working for 3 days.
