Every photo shows today's date instead of when you took it. GPS is
missing so map view is empty in Google Photos or any gallery app.
Videos you recorded as one clip come out as 5 or 6 separate
10-second fragments. And any snap with text, stickers, or captions
exports as two files — the base photo, and a separate black square
overlay that makes no sense on its own.

FIX 1: WRONG DATES ON EVERY PHOTO

Every exported photo shows today's date instead of when you actually
took it. A memory from 2019 appears under today's date in your
gallery. Your timeline becomes thousands of photos all dated the
same day.

FixMyExport reads the actual capture timestamp from your export file
and writes the correct date into every photo and video before saving.
Your gallery sorts chronologically. Search by date works. Google
Photos timeline is accurate back to the day you first started
saving memories.

FIX 2: NO GPS LOCATION ON ANY PHOTO

GPS coordinates for every memory are stored in a separate file
instead of inside the photo itself. Map view in Google Photos,
Samsung Gallery, or any gallery app stays completely empty even
though the location data exists.

FixMyExport reads the GPS coordinates from your export and embeds
them directly into each photo and video. After processing, your
location-tagged memories appear on the map exactly where you took
them.

FIX 3: CAPTIONS AND STICKERS AS SEPARATE BLACK SQUARES

When you export memories, any photo or video with text, stickers,
or filters comes as two files — the base media and a transparent
PNG overlay that shows as a solid black square in any gallery app.

FixMyExport is the only app that detects these overlay files and
composites them back onto the original photo or video. You get one
complete file per memory with all captions, stickers, and filters

FIX 4: SPLIT VIDEOS JOINED BACK TOGETHER

Videos are stored as internal 10-second or 60-second segments. When
you export, a 60-second recording becomes 6 separate files. No other
tool detects that these fragments belong together.

FixMyExport identifies consecutive video segments from the same
recording and joins them back into a single continuous video before
saving. Your videos appear as complete recordings in your gallery —
not dozens of disconnected 10-second clips.
