Lights are not all equally configurable with scenes. When lights malfunction no support is given via feedback in the app. Servers sometimes have hours of downtime. Update: increasing one star for the response. The full configuration with scenes is being considered for version 4 of the app but it's not currently available and not guaranteed to be included. As of 2024, ceiling light cannot use scenes to set ambilight colors.

I lost my patience with yeelight. They are too unstable. If the power goes out and it often does then often I need to go through the painful process of adding 6 bulbs back into the app bbecause reset and refresh app never works. They have had years now to sort this out and I have seen little improvement in the app as a whole. It still has a delays and constantly needs resetting. The app get confused with old instances of failed bulbs needing new instances added on top of them.

Apologized for your bad experience. You can try to delete bulbs in Yeelight app first and try to reconnect again. if not works, please contact me at guofeng@yeelight.com. We'll get you up and running.

Google home integration is broken. I have to delete and rediscover them to be used in Google Home again, and that's only temporary. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't inexplicably use two separate quick settings tiles to turn lights on and off. If it was just one toggle button I would deal with it, but two buttons is asking for too much real estate for no good reason. Sucks because they've worked fine for over a year.
