About this app
YellowHat Kids is an on-device safety tool that helps families identify concerning content appearing in app notifications.
HOW IT WORKS
• Choose which apps to monitor.
• Notification text is checked on the child’s device.
• Potentially concerning content is flagged for review.
• Add custom keywords that matter to your family.
• Protect settings with a parent PIN.
• Continue monitoring offline after initial setup.
OPTIONAL PARENT APP
YellowHat Parent is optional. When linked with an active subscription, parents can receive safety alerts and manage selected settings remotely.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
YellowHat only checks notification text made available by Android. It does not provide complete access to messages or conversations. Automated classifications may be incomplete or incorrect, so use alerts as a starting point for open conversations with your child.
