Keep an Android phone within reach, even when you are somewhere else.
YepControl lets you pair a browser with your own Android phone, view its screen and control it remotely. Check an app on a spare phone, maintain a dedicated device, or recover an app that needs your attention.
PAIR WITH A QR CODE
Open yepcontrol.com in a browser, scan its pairing code in the Android app, then approve the connection. No YepControl account is required.
VIEW AND CONTROL
See the screen, tap, swipe, type and use Android navigation from your paired browser. Smooth video is available after Android screen-sharing consent. Connections try a direct route and use the encrypted relay when needed.
OPTIONAL CAMERA AND MICROPHONE
Enable remote camera and microphone separately in the phone settings and grant their Android permissions. Use Camera and Listen in your paired browser, with explicit Start and Stop. Android shows active sensor indicators and, when notifications are allowed, a Stop sharing notification. Connecting or reconnecting never starts capture. Paired CLI controllers can save bounded JPEG and WAV files locally.
OPTIONAL ADVANCED CONTROL
For some screens that block ordinary taps, set up Advanced control on the phone without a computer or another ADB app. This optional feature requires Wi-Fi, Developer options and Android Wireless debugging. Start it explicitly when needed and stop it from the app or notification. It never starts automatically after a restart. Android may require approval on the phone. Regular remote control works without Developer options.
YOU CHOOSE WHO CONNECTS
Name paired browsers, pause an individual browser or all remote access, and remove devices from the phone. Optional background requests use Firebase Cloud Messaging to contact the app when Android permits.
ENCRYPTED BETWEEN YOUR DEVICES
Screen content, camera video, microphone audio, controls and typed text are encrypted between the phone and your paired browser. No ads or analytics SDK. The service retains connection metadata needed for pairing, access and optional background requests; details are in the privacy policy.
OPTIONAL REMOTE UNLOCK
Allow unlocking separately for each paired browser. You can enter a PIN remotely or explicitly save one encrypted on the phone. A failed attempt requires local recovery. After restarting the phone, its first unlock must be performed locally.
ANDROID PERMISSIONS
YepControl uses Android's AccessibilityService API, with your explicit consent, to capture the screen and perform the taps, gestures and typing you request from an approved browser. It is for human-directed control, and does not independently choose actions. Video uses Android's separate screen-sharing permission. You can stop access in the app or Android settings.
BETA LIMITS
Protected apps and sensitive screens may block capture or input. Video may need fresh consent after locking or restarting. Android, the network and device power management can delay background connections. Use the beta with devices you own or are authorized to manage; unattended recovery is not guaranteed.
