About this app

Yeterly promotes inclusion and accessibility for individuals with hearing impairments by collecting high-quality Turkish sign language data to power AI-powered machine translation. The app makes it easy to record signs and aims to help improve communication between hearing-impaired and non-deaf people. The current application provides users with Turkish sign language training for the data collection process and the right to support the algorithm to be developed. We also make the data collection process more fun by providing a user-friendly environment with gamification methods within the application!

We aim to establish a bond with users through a gamification-based Turkish sign language data collection application. Users can access sign language demonstrations in sections and levels within the application with a single click, and can earn surprise gift certificates as they progress and complete tasks. In addition to this system, which was implemented to increase user motivation, the application also includes sign language guide videos for each word to facilitate video recording. People also have the opportunity to practice learning sign language through Yeterly, which appeals to all users who know Turkish sign language.
