Ratings and reviews

The story isn't so much of a "choose your own adventure"--it's more of a "choose what you think the author wants you to pick so you don't lose many points/resources". Also, the story itself is only okay at best, it doesn't take good advantage of the format, and it ends in 6 short sections. The awards give decent repeat value though.

Updated Review: Even with the update, this just feels like an extremely barebones gamebook. Maybe the character You play as could have statistics l, like attack, defense, etc? I've played my share of gamebooks(Lone Wolf, Fighting Fantasy, even Marvel RPG gamebooks) So, the quality of these just doesn't compare. I'll do my best to give the app a chance... Currently I may play it once a day....realistically, I play it every other day.

Holy smokes. I download this as soon as I saw the first ad for it and it did not disappoint! It doesn't overwhelm you with world building and choices, but slowly pulls you in and charms you. You feel just as unsure of the world as the character you play, but the drive for adventure pushes you both forwards. Excited for the next chapters!
