Nothing is impossible
I Argentino is not a new product, in fact at first it was not even thought of as a radio, but as a National Rock program.
It was the year 2007 and my friend Víctor (who in 2001 emigrated with the crisis to Spain) was in Argentina on one of his first laps and together we tried to do something on the radio (as always). After much work and recording time we conceived YO ARGENTINO a variety program based on National Rock. We turned around several radio stations with our project in hand but it was impossible to convince someone of the potential they had and the amount of production hours we were willing to give. We hear "it is not what we are looking for", "for now we do not plan to modify programming", "it is not the style of radio".
The reality is that from that primary idea only a Blog www.100x100argentino.blogspot.com survived with effort and almost without experience we carried it out for a couple of years, writing and using it as a means of contact because my friend returned to Spain without us being able to Make radio together. To think that if this program had reached the air my friend would have stayed in Argentina is for another story.
Personally I used this space to write and keep holding whenever I would one day reach the radio. Experience and lifelong learning led him to become www.yoargentino.net and after being almost disappeared for several years, in which we sporadically published something or modified its form, March 2019 arrived.
Talking with another friend Fernando, I realized that only the decision was missing for this space to become a radio. New times, new forms, new communication, in a world in which 4 out of 10 young people and adults listen to music in digital form and of those 4, three prefer an online radio, the road became clearer. I Argentino Radio would be an online radio. In that way we were walking in that way we continue walking, we work every day, improving the programming, the contents and the way we go on the air. I am sure that the moment of the radio has not yet come completely but we are on the path sure that it is the right one and we will continue in it always thinking that you our listeners are on the other side and deserve the best.
