About this game

Bbong Online Family is a Korean folk card game, now playable online in real time.
Two to six players share a 48-card deck numbered 1 to 12 in four colors.

■ How it plays
You hold five cards. On your turn, draw one and discard one.
If a discard matches a number you hold two of, call "Bbong" within five seconds
and take it. When a round ends, the numbers left in your hand become debt.
After five rounds, the lowest total debt wins.

■ One meld turns the table
If the six cards in your hand right after a draw form a meld — four of a kind,
two triples, a straight, ten-or-under, or sixty-six-or-over — the round ends on
the spot and your debt is cut. Call "Stop" wrongly, or hand an opponent the number
they were waiting for, and you eat a 30-point penalty instead.

■ Points for where you place
Finish a quick match and your points move by the place you took at that table.
A six-player game pays +3 down to −3; a four-player game pays +2, +1, −1, −2.
Every table adds up to zero, so playing more games never inflates a score.
One game puts you on the board, and every Monday at midnight the weekly column
starts again from zero while your lifetime points carry straight on.
The setup screen and the waiting room both show the payout table for the seat
count you picked, so you know what is at stake before you sit down.

■ Hall of Fame
The fourth card in the lobby opens the top 100. Pick one of three periods —
this week, last week, all time — and one of two boards.
· Points — the placement points banked over that period
· Best game — the lowest debt you ever finished a single game with, filterable
by player count
A tile in the top bar always carries your weekly points and rank beside your
lifetime points and overall rank. Games played, level, Bbong calls, natural
Bbongs, the four melds and lifetime points each unlock new seat frames.

■ Four modes
· Tutorial — eight lessons that teach the rules from scratch
· Practice — 2 to 6 players against AI bots, with selectable difficulty
· With friends — open a room with a six-digit invite code; bots fill empty seats
· Quick match — pick a player count and you are seated automatically; results
count toward your points

■ Built to be comfortable
· One tap for everything, with a prompt at the bottom telling you what to do next
· Input is held while a Bbong or meld callout is on screen, so no turn is lost to a stray tap
· Step away and a bot plays your seat so nobody's game stalls; come back before
the set ends and you get the seat and the result back
· Cards are never distinguished by color alone, so colorblind players can read them
· Pick an avatar and a frame for your seat, and watch your record tab count the
melds you landed and the penalties you ate

■ Good to know
· There is no in-game currency. Nothing to trade, and nothing to buy
· Nothing is staked on a game. No entry fee, no pot, no prize
· Points are a record only. They have no cash value and cannot be bought,
exchanged or transferred
· Abandon a game in progress and you take last place's points plus a charge for
the rounds you left unplayed
· Report or block a player from the Account tab; a blocked player is never seated with you again
· Ads appear as an occasional full-screen ad right after you pick a mode in the
lobby, never during a game
· One optional ad from the lobby button wins back points a recent game took off
you, or lifts a week that has gone negative. Neither one can carry you above
what you lost, so no amount of watching buys points you did not play for
· Start instantly as a guest; link a Google account to carry your record across devices
· Delete your account yourself in the app under Profile → Account
