Internet Speed Meter is a fast, private, and beautifully designed network tool for Android. See your live upload and download in the status bar, run an on-demand speed test whenever you need one, and keep a full offline history of every result — all with no trackers and no paid API in the loop.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Live speed meter — a lightweight foreground service shows your current up/down speed right next to Wi-Fi and mobile icons, so you always know what your connection is actually doing.

• On-demand speed test — one tap runs a real download, upload, ping, jitter, and packet-loss test against public servers. Results include a broadband-equivalent readout, so "23 Mbps" becomes something you can actually compare against your plan.

• Scenario tests — Gaming, Video, and Live-streaming presets run realistic workloads and grade your connection Good / Fair / Poor for that use case.

• Network diagnostics — DNS lookup, DNS benchmark, IP info, port check, website test, health check, IPv6 test, traceroute, and Wi-Fi analyzer are all built in. No ads inside the diagnostic screens themselves.

• Offline history — every test you run is saved locally. Filter by network type, share a beautiful result card, or export the full log to CSV or JSON.

• Data-cap warnings — set your monthly allowance and get warned at 50%, 80%, and 100%. Per-app usage and top-talkers list included (uses Android's standard Usage Access permission).

• Home-screen widgets — current speed and daily/monthly data-usage widgets rendered with Glance.

• Quick Settings tile — toggle the live meter without opening the app.

DESIGNED FOR PRIVACY

We don't run trackers, we don't sell your data, and we don't require an account. Test targets are Cloudflare's public speed endpoint plus a small IP-lookup fallback — nothing else phones home. Support us by watching the occasional in-app ad; we use Google AdMob and honor European consent (UMP) automatically.

DESIGNED FOR ACCURACY

The engine measures Mbps over a real HTTP transfer (25 MB down, 10 MB up by default), computes ping as median of a burst of samples, and reports jitter and loss separately. No inflated numbers, no marketing lies.
