Mat44 helps you build a daily scripture reading habit with a Christian AI companion that respects your faith tradition and denomination.
If you want to read the Bible daily but struggle to stay consistent, Mat44 is designed to help you return to Scripture one day at a time. Instead of a noisy social feed, pressure-based streaks, or a one-size-fits-all Bible reading plan, Mat44 gives you a daily Bible verse or scripture passage to read, save, revisit, and carry with you.
Mat44 uses AI in a limited, Scripture-first way. The app can select a daily verse based on what you choose to share, but Brenda does not generate scripture, rewrite the Bible, create new doctrine, or monitor your spiritual life. Scripture stays Scripture.
Mat44 includes Brenda, a built-in Christian AI companion designed to support Bible study and scripture engagement without replacing prayer, pastors, church leaders, counselors, therapists, or trusted people in real life.
Brenda is not a pastor, therapist, counselor, or doctrinal authority. She is not designed to tell you what to believe. She is designed to help you stay connected to the daily scripture, talk through the verse, ask thoughtful questions, find words for prayer, and keep returning to the Word when life feels noisy.
Mat44 is currently coded for 14 Christian faith traditions and denominations, with responses shaped to respect the tradition you choose during onboarding. The app is denomination-aware, not denomination-replacing. Christianity should not be flattened into a single expression of faith, and Mat44 is designed to serve the full tapestry of Christian traditions while respecting the distinctives of each one.
That makes Mat44 useful for personal Bible study, daily devotional time, quiet time, scripture reading, and Christian habit building. It also makes Mat44 easier to share with other Christians, especially when you are not sure of their denomination or when they do not share your exact faith tradition.
The Circle plan allows up to 10 people to participate together. Each person receives their own daily verse, chooses their own faith tradition, and has their own personalized experience in the app. It is never a competition. You can only see who has joined and the last time they logged in.
Optional email follow-up is also available for users who want deeper Bible study. These follow-up emails can include additional scripture passages, study prompts, devotional questions, and tradition-aware resources to help you keep thinking about the verse after you leave the app.
