This app takes over the task of writing things down on paper and using a calculator when determining handicaps and rankings using the Shin Perio system at golf gatherings. Simply enter the participants' names and scores for each hole, and everything from the hidden hole draw to the net leaderboard and sharing in the group chat is completed in one go.

■ Key Features

1. Participant & Course Settings

- Add participants by simply entering their names, and change the course par to 3, 4, 5, or 6 by tapping the hole (default is Par 72). - Set local rules to suit the gathering: Handicap multiplier 0.8 / 1.0, hole score cut (Double Bogey Cut, Triple Bogey Cut, No Cut), decimal processing (Truncate, Round Up, Hold), Handicap cap, and whether to allow negative handicaps.

2. Score Input

- Quickly enter the strokes relative to par for each hole using the − / + buttons.

- Unconfirmed holes are marked separately, and you will be notified before the draw if any unconfirmed holes remain.

- Front nine, back nine, and total subtotals are calculated automatically.

3. Hidden Hole Draw

- Randomly select 12 hidden holes by matching the par total of 48 (2/3 of the course par) across the front 6 holes + back 6 holes.

- The draw count remains on the results screen, so re-draws cannot be hidden.

4. Final Ranking

- Handicaps are calculated using the Shin Perio formula: (Sum of 12 Hidden Hole Scores × 1.5 − Course Par) × Multiplier. Net = Gross − Handicap.

- Gross, Hidden Sum, and Handicap are displayed together on the leaderboard so that anyone can verify them manually.

- In the case of a 1-0 tie, the player with the lower handicap takes the lead, and the reason is displayed on the screen. Complete ties are treated as joint rankings.

- For participants who hit the handicap limit, the original value is displayed alongside the score.

5. Sharing and Saving

- Create a clean image card of the leaderboard to share directly to your preferred app, such as KakaoTalk, or save it to your gallery.

- The card includes the date, course par, hidden holes, a summary of local rules, and the overall ranking.

6. Round Record

- Rounds with confirmed results are automatically saved to your device. You can review the leaderboard of past rounds and share that record again.

- Even if the app is closed during input, the round in progress is restored exactly as it was.

- No registration or login required, and it operates without an internet connection.

- The name and score you enter are stored only on your device and are not sent to a server.

- Designed with large fonts and high contrast to ensure visibility even in bright sunlight outdoors.

■ What is the Shin Perio System?

It is a simplified handicap calculation method used in groups without official handicaps. Since hidden holes are randomly selected and handicaps are calculated based on the scores from those holes, it is fair as it prevents players from knowing the score beforehand and leeway. This app handles the calculation and drawing according to the rules and transparently.
