Not much wrong with the app in my experience. It literally can just help customize colors for the headset as well as blinking patterns so you can tap your phone. You only really need this app to get started but you also have to keep it if you want custome colors. If you delete the app then it defaults to the colors it came with. There is a button on the headset you can press and a sheet telling you how to press it so you really don't need the app other than colors. Or connecting to phone. Rarely

Sometimes it works beautifully, and sometimes it doesn't work. After my phone UI updated, it started... crashing constantly in the background? Anyway, I've been using these headphones and this app for almost two years now. Issues come up periodically, and they eventually do get fixed. The developers have not abandoned us! It just miiight take a while. EDIT: fixed in the next update, 4 days after posting this review. Thank you!! Really, really love the custom colors and lighting options.

PLEASE make a setting to keep it on a specific sound setting. I try to keep it on "game" mode but when a media is paused for too long and it stays silent for a few seconds, it automatically switches back to original (which sounds horrid compared to game, along with the rest of the sound settings. aside from game, they all sound like the sound was recorded with a piece of swiss cheese.)
