Saddle Friends brings cyclists together. Create group rides, find suitable rides near you, and arrange to meet up with others – whether it's a relaxed after-work ride or an ambitious race-pace tour.

Create and find rides
Create a new ride in just a few steps: title, date, meeting point on the map, average pace, and optionally a maximum number of participants. Upload your route as a GPX file or link to Komoot – distance and elevation gain are automatically transferred.

On the overview page, you'll see all rides in your area, either as a list, on the map, or combined. Filter by pace range, route length, radius, date and time, or hide rides that are fully booked.

Pace levels at a glance
Each ride is clearly assigned to one of four pace categories – Easy, Moderate, Fast, or Race – so you can immediately see if the level suits you.

Joining made easy
Join rides with a single tap. Organizers can optionally require requests to be confirmed, thus maintaining full control over their group. A dedicated chat per ride ensures that final arrangements (meeting point, equipment, weather) don't get lost in scattered messages.

Ratings and Trust
After each ride, participants can rate the organizer. This allows you to see how others experienced the person's previous rides even before registering.

Always Informed
Push notifications and a clear notification inbox keep you up to date: new join requests, confirmations, chat messages, or cancellations—you won't miss a thing.

Your Profile
Keep track of your organized and attended rides, ratings given and received, and your notification settings—all in one place.

Sattelfreunde doesn't replace a cycling community, but it makes arranging group rides as easy as it should be.
