YScroll is a smart mobile app designed to help you stop endless scrolling on short-form videos, starting with YouTube Shorts. Say goodbye to losing hours mindlessly scrolling and regain control of your time and focus.

Accessibility Permission

YScroll uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect when the user is watching short-form content such as YouTube Shorts or TikTok. This allows the app to measure scrolling time and redirect the user when a daily limit is reached.

The Accessibility Service is used only for:
• Detecting short-form video usage
• Tracking scrolling time
• Redirecting the user when the limit is reached

YScroll does NOT collect personal data, does NOT read private messages, and does NOT store browsing activity. All processing happens completely on the device.

The accessibility permission is optional and can be turned off at any time in the device settings.

Sanyi, the app is great, I love how it automatically closes the app when timer hits its limit. The problem I'm having with the app is that I have to enable permissions every time after the session ends. It would be more cooler if you make it to work on Instagram, Facebook and any other addictive scrolling app.

Nice, but if you could include other apps also like facebook, Instagram and so on. If possible add a feature to choose which apps to block.

Great app, it certainly worked on blocking yt shorts for me, wish you could add other social media or even other types of stuff to block like insta reels or fb reels
