The card game "Nine." The game is played with two virtual partners according to the following rules.
1. The game is played with a deck of 24 cards (Ace through Seven).
2. The deck is dealt entirely to three players, with eight cards each.
3. The game begins with each player contributing a certain amount to the game's pot.
4. The player with the 9 of Diamonds goes first. They play it.
5. The next player (clockwise) goes. They must place a card matching the suit of the one already on the table and the next (previous) card in rank. For example:
1. The 8 of Diamonds or the 10 of Diamonds will go with the 9 of Diamonds.
2. The Queen of Clubs will go with the jack of clubs.
3. The 7 of Spades will go with the 8 of Spades.
4. Nothing will go with any Ace or Seven.
6. If a player has a card in their hand that can be played, they MUST do so.
7. If there are multiple such cards, any suitable card of the player's choice is played.
8. If there is no card that can be played, the player passes their turn and is fined the agreed-upon amount to the game's general pot.
9. The first player to run out of cards wins the game. This player takes the game's general pot.
10. The game ends when one player runs out of money.
