Seam Notebook is an offline sewing project planner for your machine settings, fabric stash, patterns and measurements. Keep the details of each make together, from a test seam to the finished project.
Sewing machine settings and seam photos
Record the fabric, needle, thread, stitch, tension and presser foot that worked. Add front and back seam photos, search saved settings, mark favourites and compare test seams before using a setup again.
Project planning and sewing journal
Give each project a next step, checklist, fitting notes and progress journal. Link the sewing pattern, fabric, measurements and machine settings you used so the details are there when you return.
Fabric stash and pattern organiser
Track fabric remaining, fibre, width, washing notes and storage location. Save sewing pattern details, the size you cut and your own PDF instructions. Check your fabric inventory before shopping for another project.
Measurements, supplies and costs
Keep dated measurement records in centimetres or inches and copy a record when you measure again. Mark sewing supplies as needed, owned or bought, see planned and bought totals, and share a shopping list of what is still needed.
Machine care reminders
Record needle changes, manually log sewing time and note cleaning dates. Set optional local care reminders at intervals you choose.
Offline notebook and backups
Notebook tools work offline and no app account is required. Sewing records are stored locally on your phone. Export and import ZIP backups with your referenced photos and PDFs to keep a copy or move devices. Export before uninstalling or changing phones.
All notebook tools are free. Browsing screens may show banner ads. An optional one-time Google Play purchase removes all in-app ads, with no subscription. Consent, purchases and purchase restoration need an internet connection. No interstitial or full-screen ads.
Add your own patterns, photos and PDFs. The app does not supply patterns or sewing lessons, and it does not monitor your machine automatically. Sewing time is logged manually and care reminders use the intervals you set.
