You can use the terminal's NFC function (IC chip reading function) to read the IC chip information on your residence card.
[Flow of use]
① Enter your residence card information, etc. on the "Japan Post Bank customer information declaration site (https://kyc.jp-bank.japanpost.jp)".
② Launch the "Yucho Residence Card Reader App" from the site in ①.
③ After transitioning to the application screen, select the display language. (Language settings can be changed later.)
④ Confirm the terms of use, etc.
⑤ Enter your residence card number.
⑥ Read the IC chip information on the residence card.
⑦ Return to the site in ① and complete the answer.
■ Precautions
・To use this app, an IC chip reading function (NFC function) is required. If you do not have a device with an NFC function, please bring your passbook or cash card and residence card to a savings counter at a post office or Japan Post Bank to complete the procedure.
・Response of residence card information is not completed just by reading the IC chip of the residence card with this app. Please use the app according to the instructions on the "Japan Post Bank Customer Information Declaration Site".
