12/24/2025 I had high hopes & was excited to get this ruler & caliper adapter but right out of the box was disappointed that the display was blurry & not clear at all like in the ads & the app will not work, will not connect to my $200 caliper unless I let it access my location!!! this & apps like it that "require" my location are an invasion of my privacy and are criminal by insisting on it. Returning ruler & caliper and "all" accessories. Not recommending to other corporate heads to purchase.

July 2025 Update: rotation bug still not fixed. Original review: The app is unusable, it forces a rotated screen into tablet mode due to high resolution settings. Does not allow orientation to be changed. Exported drawings do not have any dimensions on them. Issue reported to support several months ago and still no fix.

the input field for custom scales isn't selectable within the app on a pixel 9 pro running the most up-to-date version of Android. for me, this pretty much makes the app useless.
