About this game

Mimic is a social deduction party game for 3 to 8 players. Everyone at the table secretly receives the same word - except one player, the imposter, who only sees the category. Players take turns giving one-word clues, discuss who sounds unsure, and then vote out the player they think is faking.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose a category and a difficulty level, then pass the phone around the table. Each player holds the card to read the secret word.
2. In turn, every player says one clue about the word out loud.
3. With 3 or 4 players a second clue round runs in reverse order, so whoever spoke last now speaks first.
4. Discuss out loud, then vote. The app records the single name the group agrees on and eliminates that player.
5. If the imposter is caught, they get one last chance to guess the secret word.

SCORING
Every civilian scores a point when the group eliminates the imposter. The imposter scores more for surviving the vote, and more still for being caught but guessing the secret word anyway.

Mimic needs no internet connection to play on a single device, and no account to play online.
