Hunting permit in Romania: What do you need?

How to obtain a hunting permit in Romania?
It seems unnecessary to clarify, but it is worth remembering that no one can hunt in Romania without a hunting permit, which is issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Domains. How to get a hunting permit?
1. The first thing you will need to do is join a local association. The association must be affiliated with the General Association of Sports Hunters and Anglers. The annual membership fee is approximately 800 lei, which in euros would be 162. Note that this amount may vary depending on the course of the day.
2. You must submit a written request to the management of the association. This is required to register for a season. Along with this application you must attach:
a. Identity card.
b. Criminal record.
c. Recommendation of a member of the association.
3. In order to obtain a license, you must undergo at least one year of training under the guidance of the association with which you are registered. Ideally, you should be trained at the shooting range so that you can handle the gun properly. You will also need to acquire knowledge of hunting grounds, hunting and wildlife.
4. At the end of the training period, you will receive a graduation recommendation from the hunting association.
5. Once you have completed your training, you can take a theory test to get your license. It is organized every year and on the same date for all associations in the area.
What documents do you need to present to take the exam?
• Copy of the identity card.
• The original application by which you request registration in the association of
hunting.
• Approval from the management of the association for awarding the exam.
• Graduation recommendation from the hunting association in which you-
you have prepared
• Training form completed and approved by the management of the association
hunting.
• Medical certificate issued under the conditions established by the legal framework of
the hunting sector, in which it is specified that you are fit from
physically and mentally to possess and use weapons of
hunting.
• Criminal record certificate, issued by the Romanian Police, certifying that
you have the right to own and use this weapon.
• Declaration on your own responsibility that you have not committed any criminal offence
in the last 3 years.
Please note that all documents must be original, except for the identity card. They must be presented at the registered office of the organization you belong to. The list of candidates will be sent to the authorities five days before the examination.
