Bring your favorite LUTs directly into the camera and capture your look as you shoot.
SnapMeter is a LUT-focused camera app for photos and videos, with RAW shooting, film metering, distance measurement, and flash tools built in.
【1. LUT Camera & Video】
Import LUTs, preview the look in the camera, and shoot without applying filters later.
Supported LUT formats:
• FUJIFILM F-Log2 LUT (33 Grid)
• Panasonic V-Log .vlt
• Standard sRGB 3D LUT
Use cinematic looks, film-inspired colors, or your own custom LUTs for photos and videos.
◆ High-Quality JPEG
JPEG capture is tuned for image quality and works well for everyday photography.
For the best result, keep the phone steady for a moment after pressing the shutter.
◆ RAW + LUT
RAW capture is supported on the rear main camera.
SnapMeter reads RAW sensor data directly and processes it through its own imaging pipeline for conversion, color rendering, and LUT processing. No need to save a traditional RAW file first and edit it later in another app.
RAW processing speed depends on your device. If it feels too slow, switch to JPEG mode.

Record video directly with LUT processing and video stabilization.
LUT video requires real-time GL rendering.

【2. Film Light Meter】
SnapMeter also includes a film-focused light meter.
Use the live camera view to evaluate exposure and see whether the scene fits within the brightness range of negative or slide film.
Features:
• Real-time zebra patterns
• Dynamic histogram
• Relative EV display
• AI portrait detection
• Film development / scan preview
Negative film mode highlights areas below -2 EV and above +6 EV.
Slide / positive film mode uses a stricter range below -2 EV and above +2 EV.
With AI enabled, a grayscale preview helps estimate brightness after film development and scanning.
【3. Rangefinder & Flash Assistant】
SnapMeter can estimate subject distance for zone-focus, manual-focus, vintage, and compact cameras.
Set your phone holding height, aim at the ground beneath the subject, and SnapMeter calculates the shooting distance.
It can also use the measured distance and flash Guide Number (GN) to suggest flash power.

◆ Real-Time LUT Preview
SnapMeter uses GLA (GL AUTO) by default. GLA enables or disables real-time GL rendering according to device performance and stability.
To force-enable it:
Grid Menu → Change GLA to GL
LUT video requires GL.
◆ RAW Capture
The RAW pipeline currently supports the rear main camera only.
RAW mode processes original sensor data directly instead of relying on the phone manufacturer's full computational photography pipeline.
Processing speed varies by device. The viewfinder cannot fully reproduce the final RAW result in real time, so preview color may differ slightly from the finished photo.
◆ AI Noise Reduction
Some RAW photos may continue AI noise reduction in the background after capture.
Android notification permission may be requested the first time this feature is used for background processing.
◆ Microphone Permission
The microphone is used only to record audio while recording video. SnapMeter does not use it when video recording is not active.
◆ Metering Accuracy
Metering results may vary slightly between devices because camera sensors, Camera APIs, and hardware behavior differ.
If your phone shows a consistent difference from your film camera or external meter, you can fine-tune the metering.
