Out Lived! – One More Day, Every Day
Enter your name, birthdate and expected lifespan (it stays safely on your device). Every time you open Out Lived!, the app figures out exactly how old you are right this second… then shows you up to 5 historical heavy-hitters from the Pantheon dataset who didn’t quite make it to your current age.
They lived. They achieved. They made history books.
And you? You’re still here—quietly competing in the longest game of all, one ordinary day at a time. You don’t need fame, genius, or world-changing deeds to win this round. Just keep showing up. Every sunrise is free overtime, and the scoreboard doesn’t care about your resume.
It’s a quiet daily nudge:
• You’ve already outlasted some pretty impressive lives.
• That extra day isn’t guaranteed… so maybe make it count.
Why this app exists
Two lifelong friends (one IT veteran who’s wrestled Java backends and databases for 30 years, the other an electrical engineer who knows how to make things last) built this as our first retirement side project. We started with a simple idea: use real historical data to remind ourselves—and you—that every sunrise is basically free overtime on life.
v1 Highlights
• One-time birthdate entry (local only—no cloud, no tracking)
• Daily list of up to 5 notable people you’ve outlived (ages, brief bios, often Wikipedia links)
• Exact age math down to the day (because why round when you can be precise?)
• Offline forever after install—no Wi-Fi needed for your daily existential coffee
• Clean, no-nonsense design (we’re old-school like that)
• Non-intrusive ads to help fund future features (we promise not to interrupt your moment of reflection)
Privacy note: Your data never leaves your phone. No data collection, no sharing, no funny business.
So go ahead—open Out Lived! and see who you’ve already outlasted today.
You don’t have to be great to keep winning at living.
You just have to keep going.
Who knows? You might just discover you’re older than dirt… and still kicking. 😏
Download now. Celebrate one more day.
We’ll see you tomorrow—hopefully with another win.
