Chess with an opponent and a coach.
Play a rated game against somebody at your level, then let the engine walk back through it and show you the moment it turned. Most chess apps tell you that you lost. This one tells you where.
PLAY ONLINE
• Rated games at seven time controls, from one-minute bullet to half-hour classical.
• Four separate ratings: bullet, blitz, rapid and classical. A one-minute rating and a half-hour rating are different claims about a player, and mixing them into one number helps nobody.
• Matched by strength, not by whoever is nearest. A new player is not thrown at a veteran on their first game.
• A game starts in seconds. No lobby to sit in.
• Chat with the person opposite while you play.
INVITE A FRIEND
Send a link. They open it, you both land in the same lobby, and you choose the time control and whether it counts. Nothing starts until both of you are ready, and either of you can still say wait during the countdown.
THE COACH
• A full-strength Stockfish reviews the game you just played and grades every move.
• See the evaluation move by move, and the moment the game actually turned.
• Ask for a hint mid-game when you are stuck.
• Warned before a blunder, if you want to be.
• Practise against the engine at seven strengths, from a beginner-friendly opponent to something well past club level.
