ZAR Rewards is a South African loyalty card wallet that keeps your store cards together and puts a scannable barcode on your phone when you reach the till.

ADD YOUR FAVOURITE SOUTH AFRICAN CARDS

Store cards for Woolworths MyDifference, Checkers Xtra Savings, Clicks ClubCard, Pick n Pay Smart Shopper, Dis-Chem Benefit, Makro mCard and many more. You can also add other barcode-based loyalty cards.

SCAN STRAIGHT FROM YOUR PHONE

Open a card and present its large, bright barcode at checkout. Auto-brightness helps scanners read it, and your saved cards remain available without signal or mobile data.

SEE WHAT YOUR POINTS MAY BE WORTH

My ZAR estimates selected point balances in rands using publicly published programme conversion rates. Values are estimates only, may change or be incorrect, and each loyalty programme remains the source of truth.

TRACK YOUR SPEND

Keep a simple private spending record alongside your cards. Receipt photos and logged spend stay on your device and are not included in cloud sync.

ADD A CARD YOUR WAY

Scan a physical barcode, import a screenshot from another wallet, enter the membership number manually or use voice input where available.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

No account is required. Your local wallet works offline and stays on your device.

OPTIONAL BACKUP AND SYNC

Create an account only if you want cloud sync. Nothing uploads until you choose Sync cards. Sign in on another device to restore the synced copy, and delete your synced cards or account whenever you choose.

What’s new

Shop for me — send whoever's doing the shopping a link with your list and your card. They tick items off as you watch, and scan the card at the till so the points still come to you. No app needed. It expires on its own, and you can stop it any time.

Slip audit — photograph a till slip and check it against your list, its own maths, and whether your card actually earned anything.

Also: the home screen now says why it picked that card, and My ZAR shows when its rates were last checked.
