Looop is the companion app for attendees of the IFC Harvard Islamic Finance Conference.

A conference is only as valuable as the people you actually meet. Looop is built around that one problem: helping you find the handful of attendees worth your time, and then physically finding them in a crowded venue.

WHO'S WORTH MEETING
Looop looks at what you're working on and what you're hoping to get from the conference, and suggests attendees you'd genuinely benefit from meeting — with the reason shown alongside each one. Not a ranked list you're asked to trust blindly, but "you're both working on sukuk structuring" or "you're both here from Kuala Lumpur", so you can judge for yourself.

MESSAGE ANYONE, ANY TIME
Start a conversation before the conference begins, from anywhere. No need to wait until you're both in the room, and no need to swap contact details with someone you've just met.

ASK TO MEET
When you're both at the venue, send a request to meet. The other person decides. Nothing is shared unless they accept — declining, or simply ignoring it, shares nothing at all.

FIND EACH OTHER
Once you've both agreed, Looop shows how far apart you are and whether that distance is closing. Location is shared only between the two of you, only while you're both looking at the screen, and the session ends automatically after 15 minutes.

PRIVACY
Looop never tracks your location in the background or when the app is closed. Your location is shared with another attendee only after you have both explicitly agreed to meet. There are no ads and no data brokers.
