A speedometer that doesn't drain your battery or lie to you.
Most GPS speedometers keep the location radio running long after you've stopped, and show a confident number even when the signal can't support it. SpeedNova does neither.
GPS runs only when you're measuring. Start a trip and it tracks. Pause it, finish it, or close the app and the radio is released — immediately, not eventually. There is no background tracking, ever.
It tells you when it doesn't know. A weak or stale signal shows as "weak signal" or "searching", not a frozen number left over from thirty seconds ago. You can see how many satellites are in view and how many are actually being used, so a poor reading explains itself.
No ads while you're driving. The speedometer screen and the head-up display carry no advertising of any kind.

SpeedNova makes no network requests to function. Your speed, your journeys and your trips never leave your phone. No account, no cloud sync, nothing to sign up for.
A NOTE ON ACCURACY
GPS speed is usually within a few km/h of your car's speedometer under open sky, and less reliable in tunnels, between tall buildings and under heavy tree cover. SpeedNova tells you which of those you're in rather than hiding it. It is not a substitute for your vehicle's own speedometer.
