As Part of the Zebra Guardian suite of solutions, Device Guardian (DG) is a scalable cloud-based solution that makes it easy to recover lost or misplaced devices, preventing device loss and requiring replacement by leverage existing Wi-Fi network infrastructure along with Bluetooth and device audio to locate devices. Device Guardian identifies missing devices that are in need of recovery and provides a visual proximity indicator that shows,in real-time, how close or far the missing device.
Upgrading to Access Management (DGAM) adds a comprehensive fleet management solution for Zebra Android-powered mobile devices. Physical kiosk functionality gives you visibility into the local operation, making it easy to see device availability, and track device usage and accountability.

What’s new

- Reliable Tracking: Powered-off, lost devices now remain consistently visible in the "Nearby" view without disappearing.
- Offline Search Fix: Resolved an error that blocked searches for offline devices by incorrectly labeling them as "Never Connected."
- Launch Stability: Fixed a startup crash and freeze (ANR) that occurred during the very first app launch after configuration.
