About this app

The Scanner Control App enables Zebra cordless scanners to be connected and controlled by a tablet / smart phone.

This demo application is intended for demonstration purposes.

This app supports Scan-To-Connect technology for 1-step Bluetooth pairing.

It allows you to control your scanner:
• Program beeper and LEDs
• Enable / disable symbologies
• Remotely trigger a scan

It displays scanned bar code data.

It can query scanner asset information & battery health statistics.

it has always worked well I replaced the smartphone with android 11 and now I can no longer update the firmware the message "put you correct plugin in the device storage> download folder ... but the firmware is present in the download folder

Useless. Connected a cabled scanner and it registered it with a beep, but then switched to asking me to connect my cordless scanner. Total garbage. Requires your location AND Bluetooth address even if you aren't using a Bluetooth scanner. Idiotic. Completely idiotic.

Thank you for your feedback. We also felt you should have an option to connection without entering a Bluetooth address. The solution has been cut in. In terms of entering your location and Bluetooth address, that is driven by Android (Google) if your app has even the potential for using the Bluetooth.
