Two thumbs. Three hundred sixty degrees. Nothing plays itself.
ThumbBurner is an offline arcade space shooter where your ship turns and flies in any direction. Enemies come from every side of the screen, there is no auto-fire and no auto-play, and the only things between you and the high score are your reflexes and two thumbs.
▶ A SHOOTER THAT FLIES IN EVERY DIRECTION
Not a lane. Not a vertical scroll. Your ship rotates a full 360° and the arena stays around you. Every wave signals the edge it is arriving from before it gets there — read the warning, turn to meet it, or dash the other way.
▶ 15 BOSSES, EACH WITH A PATTERN TO CRACK
Fifteen hand-built boss fights: grid lasers, splitting fractals, phase-shifting mirrors, a singularity that drags you in. Learn the tell, find the gap, punish it. Want another go at one? Revenge Mode lets you re-fight any boss you have met, as often as you like.
▶ THREE EPISODES, FIFTEEN SECTORS
Euclidean, Non-Euclidean, Meta Dimension — fifteen sectors and over twenty enemy types, each with its own movement and attack. Clear a run and the loop starts again, harder.
▶ SUPPLY RUNS WORTH CHASING
Once a sector, an armoured transport crosses the field under armed escort. Bring it down before it warps out and its container hands you a side wing, a mine option, a smart bomb or a hull repair. Let it go and you lose nothing but the prize. Chasing it is a choice, not a chore.
▶ CONTROLS BUILT FOR THUMBS
Stick on the left, FIRE / DASH / BOMB / LOCK on the right. Dash closes distance and rams; lock-on holds a target while you keep moving; a smart bomb clears the screen when it stops being survivable.
▶ GEAR UP BEFORE YOU LAUNCH
The pre-launch supply screen carries extra hull, shield, weapon level, side wings or mines into your run. Everything is earned in game or unlocked with an optional ad. There are no in-app purchases in this game — nothing is for sale.
▶ PLAY ANYWHERE, ONLINE OR NOT
The whole game runs offline. Sign in to Google Play Games when you want your score on the global leaderboards; skip it and nothing is locked away.
