This is the dictionary app you are looking for. Read about it on HN and thought I'd give it a try. I've always wanted a way of storing and categorizing all the new words I come across in my day to day or within a book. Even in it's infancy, it is the most practical and clean looking dictionary app I've seen. Excited to see where it goes with future features!

Great app! There is a problem however, with the notes list on the home page. If I have more than 4 notes, the rest are cut off below the keyboard margin, and I'm unable to scroll to view them. I also would love an option to load a specific notebook (or just a search page, maybe) on load instead of going through the homepage, since sometimes I just want to look something up.

Hey, Kevin, thanks for your feedback. I will take a look at the bug you describe with the scroll as soon as possible.

The core concept is brilliant. The problem is that a standard language dictionary is an insufficient tool. Most unfamiliar references are not simple vocabulary but include the names of persons, taxonomies, societies, geographies, traditions, etc. An encyclopedia search atop a dictionary search would make this app more useful. As it stands, it's merely a neat idea and will pass quickly into the unused pile of apps with other neat ideas, which are entirely dispensable.
