About this app

World Map Explorer is a thoughtfully crafted Android application designed to offer an accessible, clear, and user-friendly experience for exploring and interacting with world maps. With a clean layout, gesture-based interaction, and structured button controls, the app makes map navigation simple, flexible, and intuitive for all users.
Built for clarity, simplicity, and control, World Map Explorer enables users to move, analyze, and interact with map elements using direct input and well-defined UI components. Whether you're browsing a location, checking coordinates, exploring map borders, or analyzing distances, every feature is designed for ease of use and reliable feedback.

z.Map uses the Accessibility API to run its own accessibility service, called z.Map Screen Overlay. This service bypasses the screen reader’s Explore-By-Touch behavior within the map area, allowing users to navigate the map using touch and swipe gestures.
