Tiny Atlas is a private, offline-first place journal for the small discoveries that make your world feel personal. Save a café you want to revisit, a viewpoint with an unforgettable sunset, a quiet park, a favorite shop, a striking building, or any location that deserves more than a passing memory. Every saved place becomes part of your own visual atlas, organized around the details you choose to keep.
Create a place in a few simple steps. Add a name, choose a category, write an address, record personal notes, set a rating, mark the place as a favorite, and add your own tags. You can attach up to twelve photos from the device and select a position on the built-in illustrated map. The editor keeps the important information together without making the process feel like paperwork, so saving a new discovery stays quick enough for the moment when you are still there.

The home screen gives your atlas a calm, visual starting point. Explore saved markers on a hand-drawn map, pinch and drag to look around, and tap a marker to open its details. A monthly discovery goal shows your progress at a glance, while compact actions lead to the gallery, insights, calendar, reminders, and settings. The layout keeps the map visible while placing useful actions close to your thumb.

Gallery turns your saved places into a flexible collection. Browse photo-led cards, search by place name or address, and find entries through their tags. Filter by category or show favorites only when you want to revisit the places that matter most. Open any card for a full detailed view with photos, notes, rating, tags, visit date, and its atlas position. Your original photo files stay on the device; Tiny Atlas stores access to the selected images for display inside the app.

Insights help you notice patterns in your collection. Review the last seven days, the last thirty days, or your last twelve months of activity. See the number of places in the selected range, average rating, favorites, category mix, discovery rhythm, and a short local insight based on your saved data. The monthly goal is shown alongside the current month, giving you a gentle reason to keep exploring without turning the app into a competition.

Optional reminders can give you a quiet prompt to save a new discovery. Choose a time and decide whether reminders may appear every day, on weekdays, or on weekends. Notifications are scheduled privately on the device, and Android may adjust delivery slightly to protect battery life. You can change or disable reminders at any time. Tiny Atlas does not require an account, a social profile, or a constant connection to keep your atlas useful.

Your places, preferences, ratings, notes, tags, selected photos, theme choice, monthly goal, and reminder settings are stored locally. The core experience works without an internet connection and does not depend on a remote account or online map service. Tiny Atlas is made for personal use: there are no public profiles, follower counts, leaderboards, mandatory feeds, or distractions competing for your attention. Your collection remains a quiet space for places that mean something to you.

Choose a light or dark visual theme, or let the app follow the system setting. The interface uses soft atlas-inspired colors, clear typography, rounded cards, and gentle motion for comfortable browsing in both modes. Whether you are planning a walk, collecting favorite cafés, documenting a trip, or saving the corners of everyday life, Tiny Atlas turns scattered memories into a personal map you can return to.
