Zen Phone Lock — Focus • App Blocker • Screen Time Control

IMPORTANT — USE OF ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API
Zen Phone Lock uses Android's AccessibilityService API. This is the app's core feature: without it, the app cannot detect or block distracting apps. With your consent, it is used only to:
• Detect which app or screen is open (including the home screen and Recent apps) during a focus session you started: opening an app you didn't allow locks your phone, and unlocking brings you back to Zen Phone Lock.
• Read Chrome's address bar (never page content), to block adult websites and, in Zen Focus Lock, sites that aren't study or work related.
• Detect YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, so short-form video stays blocked even when the rest of the app is allowed.
• Detect and close a blocked app's floating (Picture-in-Picture) video window.
All of this is processed on your device and discarded immediately. Zen Phone Lock does NOT collect, store, or share any data read through the AccessibilityService API, and never reads passwords or messages. Before you turn the permission on, the app shows a clear disclosure and asks for your consent ("Agree" / "No thanks"). You can turn it off in Android Settings → Accessibility.

Block distracting apps, start focused sessions, reduce screen time, and build healthier phone habits — on your own terms, with restrictions you set and can always see.

THREE FOCUS MODES
• Zen Focus Lock — choose exactly which apps stay reachable; everything else, including the home screen, is restricted for the session you set. Switch between your allowed apps from Recent apps or the session screen.
• Complete Lock — essentials only (Camera, Calendar, Calculator, Clock), one tap away on the session screen. The strictest mode.
• Zen Balance — everything works normally except the apps you mark as distracting, which get a per-session time limit.
During every session, Home brings you back to Zen Phone Lock, where you open your apps from its own app grid — even during a 5-minute access.

BUILT-IN GUARDRAILS
Social media, games, entertainment, and shopping apps are always restricted during Zen Focus Lock — in presets and schedules too. Camera, Calendar, Calculator, Clock, incoming calls, and emergency calling always stay reachable, in every mode.

NO NOTIFICATION DISTRACTIONS
During a session, notifications from other apps are held back (with Notification access) and reappear when the session ends. Calls, alarms, and emergency alerts always come through.

RECURRING SCHEDULES
Set a mode to start automatically at the same time each day or week.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
See your session history, total focus time, current streak, and unlock achievements.

NEED A QUICK BREAK?
End a session early by watching short ads or making a small payment, or use a limited number of temporary unlocks — always shown clearly before you use one.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Settings and uninstalling are never blocked — you'll just see a reminder that leaving ends your session and breaks your streak.
