About this app

Where does your WiFi signal drop? WiFi Heatmap: Signal Mapper turns signal readings into a visual coverage map, helping you find weak spots around your home or workspace.

MAP WI-FI COVERAGE
Start a room survey with a blank grid, imported floor plan, photo of your plan, or manual room layout. Walk to a spot, tap its position on the map, and record a WiFi signal reading. Build a color-coded heatmap as you collect samples.

FIND WEAK SIGNAL AREAS
Spot weak coverage and potential dead zones with colored measurement markers and a signal-strength heatmap. View the weakest, best and average dBm readings, plus a summary of weak samples. Unsampled areas are estimates, not direct measurements.

LIVE WIFI SIGNAL METER
Check signal strength in dBm (RSSI) wherever you stand. See available connection information such as frequency, WiFi band, channel, link speed and WiFi standard.

SAVE AND ORGANIZE SURVEYS
Keep surveys organized by property and floor. Reopen a previous map, continue recording samples, or start a retest. Add router, mesh or extender markers to your plan.

COMPARE BEFORE AND AFTER
Moved your router or adjusted your network setup? Survey the same floor again and compare results to see how measured signal strength and coverage changed.

EXPORT COVERAGE RESULTS
Share your heatmap as an image or PDF report, or export raw signal readings to CSV.

Useful for checking WiFi coverage in apartments, houses, offices and other indoor spaces.

WiFi signal strength is not internet speed. Heatmaps estimate coverage between measured points. Some network details depend on Android permissions and device support.
Map WiFi signal strength, find dead zones and compare coverage surveys.
