I played this as a kid, got it again years later. Recently, I noticed that the game got a huge update that as others are pointing out has essentially ruined the game. It's now designed to empty your pockets with the 3-part levels, all stars required, and lives. Even worse, on level 190, I tried using the helper booster since I had some leftover when I previously completed the game. I followed all the steps twice and the candy would get hit by a spike, restarting the level. A huge shame indeed.

used to be my absolute favorite mobile game since i was a kid, even despite all the ads. but the new updates completely overhauled the game with new textures, animations, levels/stages, and even mechanics. the color scheme of the game is brighter and has more contrast and just overall feels more like slop. worst of all, completing levels in big chunks at a time but playing infrequently is completely impossible without paying money, now that cut the rope uses a "lives" system. what the hell.

this game used to be really fun, but they've ruined it with ads. after every level (which only takes 15 seconds to do) there are 2 30 second ads. There is also a glitch that forces you to use om noms powers, which takes away the fun. So sad that they butchered this game. I loved playing it as a kid. EDITING ON august 25 they made this game EVEN WORSE!! They've made it like candy crush where you get a certain amount of candies every hour, and they changed the format of the game completely. 0/5
