Everyone argues online. Almost nobody debates.
Zero Debate is a text-only debate arena. You take a side, you get an opponent
who took the other one, and you make your case in writing while an audience
watches and votes on who argued it better.
No microphone. No camera. No talking over anyone. Just the argument.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Swipe the deck. Browse live debates and open topics the way you'd browse
anything else — swipe past what bores you, stop at what doesn't.
2. Pick your side. Every topic has a FOR and an AGAINST. Choose the one you'll
actually defend.
3. Argue it out. When someone takes the opposite side, the debate starts. You
trade written arguments in turns, free-flow, no time pressure.
4. The crowd decides. Anyone can watch live, react, and chat. When it's over the
audience votes on who made the better case — and the tally stays hidden until
you've cast your own, so nobody just follows the crowd.
WHY TEXT
Voice debates reward whoever is loudest, fastest, and most willing to interrupt.
Writing rewards whoever is right. You get time to think, room to structure a
point, and no way to win by volume. If your argument only works when you're
shouting it, it doesn't work.
WHAT YOU GET
• A topic library across 19 categories — politics, technology, sport, money,
culture, ethics and more — each with both sides already framed
• Live debates you can watch, react to, and vote on
• Direct challenges: call out a specific opponent and name your topic
• Replays of every finished debate, so a good argument doesn't disappear
• A profile that tracks your record — wins, losses, draws, streaks, and a
civility score that goes up when you argue well and down when you don't
• Push notifications when it's your turn, when someone challenges you, and when
a result lands
FOR PEOPLE WHO
• Have opinions and are willing to have them tested
• Would rather write than shout
• Have ever lost an argument because someone was better at talking, not right
• Want to actually change their mind sometimes
THE RULES
Attack the argument, not the person. Zero Debate is built for real disagreement,
which means it works only if losing an argument is safe. Harassment, hate speech,
threats and doxxing get you removed. You can block anyone, and report anything,
from inside the app.
Zero Debate is for users aged 18 and over.
Come with receipts.
Pick a side, argue it in text, and let the audience decide who won.
