About this game

Zero Day is a hacker simulator that teaches real cybersecurity while you play. Every network, company, and person in it is fictional — nothing you do touches a real system — but the tools, the commands, and the techniques are the real thing.

You work at a real command line. Scan a target with nmap, read the service versions, search them for known exploits, drive Metasploit to break in, crack logins with hydra, inject a web app, enumerate SMB shares, brute-force hidden web directories, escalate to root, and exfiltrate the data — all by typing the actual commands. Nothing plays itself.

A REAL TERMINAL
• Type genuine commands: nmap, searchsploit, msfconsole, hydra, sqlmap, smbclient, gobuster, and more
• Read real output, identify the weakness, and choose your own way in
• Manage your Trace — every action is noise, and getting caught ends the run

200 MISSIONS, 20 ACTS
• A story campaign from script kiddie to taking down a ransomware crew's own servers
• Daily contracts for extra credits and XP
• Progression paced over days and weeks, not one sitting

NET WAR — LIVE MULTIPLAYER
• Raid other players' defended rigs for trophies, credits, and Keys
• Found or join a crew and climb the seasonal crew ladder together
• Get raided back while you're offline — keep your defenses up
• Revenge, daily and weekly objectives, and season rewards

LEARN TO DEFEND
• A built-in Codex explains every technique: what it is, how attackers use it, and how to defend against it
• Quiz yourself for bonus rewards
• Practice the mindset that keeps your own accounts and devices safe

Zero Day is a game and a learning tool. Accessing computers you don't own is illegal — this is the legal way to learn how breaches really happen, and how to stop them. Want to go further? The game points you to legal practice labs like TryHackMe, Hack The Box, and OverTheWire.

You can leave a mission briefing now
Tapping a job used to trap you on the "Jack in" screen. Now there's a "Back to jobs" button and you can tap outside to close it. Bonus: you're only charged bandwidth when you actually jack in — browsing jobs is free.

Ad fixes
The bottom banner no longer covers the "Jack in" button or the 4th answer on Codex quizzes.
