Strategy Paths is a grid strategy game about one decision: which road do you build? You do not steer every step. You plan the path, preview the march, then send the army and watch them walk it.

Each level is a map. Start at your base. The boss waits at the far end. Between them are camps, recruits, mana, and tiles you still have to place. The hand gives you road pieces. Lay them, rotate them, and connect a route that actually reaches the goal. A broken path does not advance. A greedy path can too.

Preview before you commit. The march is simulated first, so you can see where the army slows, where it fights, and whether it arrives with anyone left. During the preview, pickups stay unclaimed. Nothing is spent until you advance for real.

Then the army moves on its own. They follow the road you built. Camps hold and then chase. Recruit sites add allies when your first unit steps in. Mana pools add strength only when someone actually walks onto the tile, not while you are still planning. Bases fire as you pass. If the army is wiped on the road, the level is lost. Reaching the boss door is not a win by itself. Arrive too weak and the last fight still ends you.

The loop is short and sharp. Plan. Preview. Advance. Fight. Repeat with a tighter route. One level, one path, one army. The puzzle is not how to click faster. It is which detour is worth the blood, and which shortcut leaves you empty at the gate.
