ZFExpert answers a simple question: Can your vehicle drive in a low-emission zone?

Enter your vehicle type and Crit'Air sticker. The app tells you, city by city, whether you can drive—now, or on a date you choose.

WHAT THE APP DOES

• The 19 French Low Emission Zones (LEZs), with their boundaries, hours, and days of application
• A clear verdict per vehicle and per city: permitted, prohibited, or rule unavailable
• Actual hours: some LEZs only apply on weekdays, others 24/7
• The schedule of upcoming stricter regulations
• A map of France to locate the zones at a glance
• The zone closest to you, if you allow location services
• Save your favorite cities
• Offline functionality: the rules are cached on your phone

WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM

From the National LEZ Database, published on transport.data.gouv.fr by the local authorities themselves.

When a rule is not published for your vehicle type, the app displays "Rule unavailable" and directs you to the official decree. It never infers permission from silence.

ZFExpert is a decision-making tool, never proof. Only the local authority's order is legally binding and can only be used as evidence during an inspection.

PRIVACY

No account. No advertising. No tracking. No audience measurement.

Your vehicles and settings remain on your phone. The requested location is approximate, never precise GPS: it is used live on the device and is neither recorded nor transmitted. No journeys are saved.
