Important Update: As of version "7.43_JET_1.28" and later, you no longer need to access /Android/data (or use the Shizuku approach) to manage your app data.

New Data Location:
Your data is now stored in /Android/media/com.zinuzoid.xcsoar_jet, which can be easily accessed using any generic file manager.
Note: If you update the app (instead of doing a fresh install), your current data will remain in /Android/data/com.zinuzoid.xcsoar_jet, and the app will continue to use it.

To Switch to the New Data Location:
1. Backup your existing data
2. Uninstall the app
3. Reinstall the app
4. Restore your backup to /Android/media/com.zinuzoid.xcsoar_jet

For original XCSoar fans; you might be wondering where the original XCSoar app is. The answer is it's gone forever as the previous owner took down the app.
The good news is that a new owner is taking over XCSoar's future but there's still a lot of work before publishing the original XCSoar again. You can follow the progress at https://github.com/XCSoar/XCSoar/issues/1370 or download the original version directly from https://xcsoar.org/

In the meantime, XCSoar JET is an alternative to the original XCSoar. XCSoar JET's strategy is a soft fork, meaning we'll always have 100% of original XCSoar development/features plus my features tailored to my personal needs.

# What's the difference from original XCSoar
XCSoar JET will always include 100% of original XCSoar development/feature, plus additional features that are tailored to my needs, examples include:
- Unlock minimal zoom level down to 100m
- Fix XCTracer GPS from return null island position (0,0)
- Reduce trail length from 60min/5min to 10min/2min
- Android: show status bar while in full screen, disable all screen immersion feature
- CrossSection view: fix scaling for feet unit, remove unit text padding
- New Infobox V GND and TAS in the same Infobox

Great. Thank You. I wish it was possible to import tasks using QR code. Also I wish there was an option to place the thermal tracker superimposed on top of the glider. There are options to allow the thermal tracker to be set on the corners but not just yet in the middle. That would be super helpful because then deciding on which side to turn would become a faster process by combining the snail trail of the track, the glider position and the thermal tracker all in one place.

The font so tiny it is illegible. I have used XCsoar for years. It is now useless on my new phone. Very disappointed.

2nd flight with it yesterday and it worked perfectly. No crashes for 6 1/2 hours, 535km. Upgraded to 5stars. Sorry can't send log file from 1st flight as it was overwritten. Can you send me e-mail contact, I have suggestions/comments. Day 3 and it crashed again about an hour and a half into the flight.
