Cairnstead is a simple trail logbook for hikers and casual walkers who want a calm, focused place to remember outdoor adventures. Each hike you record becomes a small wooden trail stake on a folded topographic map, giving your outdoor history a tactile, visual feel. The Trail Map tab is the main dashboard, where the map displays your saved hikes as tiny stakes with colored terrain flags. Two small stone cairn counters rest on the map border and show your total number of hikes under the carved label PEAKS and your total distance under the carved label KM. A compass rose quick-add button sits at the center of the map so you can begin logging a new outing without hunting through menus. The last three hikes appear as folded trail tags tucked under the bottom corner of the map for quick reference. The Trail Log tab keeps a ruled field notebook style list of every hike, with trail name, date, distance, and a small terrain flag for each entry. The New Hike tab uses a clipboard and blank trail tag form where you enter the trail name, hike date, distance in kilometers, and brief notes. Trail name and date are required, while distance and notes are optional, so you can capture as much or as little as you like. Saved entries can be reviewed, updated, or removed directly from your local collection. The Finder tab places a search bar above a simple list, letting you filter your hikes by trail name, date, or distance and quickly locate a past outing. All information stays on your device, so your personal trail history remains private and available without an account or internet connection. Cairnstead is designed for weekend hikers, trail walkers, and anyone who wants a lightweight diary of the paths they have explored. The warm map desk styling, handwritten log entries, and subtle compass navigation make recording a hike feel like returning to camp and jotting down the day.
