About this app
Zipster is a file manager and archive tool for the files already on your phone. Open a RAR, ZIP or 7z, look inside before you unpack, and extract straight into the folder the archive is sitting in.
Everything happens on the device. A native engine built into the app reads and writes the archives — nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

One thing we would rather be straight about: no Android app can create RAR files. The format is proprietary and its licence forbids building a compressor. Zipster extracts RAR, and creates ZIP and 7z.

The Archives tab lists every archive on the phone, so you can act on one without remembering where it went. Step through an archive like a folder, preview an image or a text file before extracting, and pull out a single entry instead of all of them.
A REAL FILE MANAGER
Internal storage, SD card and USB-OTG drives. Move, copy, rename, delete, sort and search. Deleted files go to a recycle bin and can be restored for 30 days.
