Zipt is a privacy-first receipt scanner, price tracker and budget companion. It turns paper receipts into a searchable price history that lives only on your device.
Most of us have no idea whether the milk we bought today cost more than last month, or whether the shop across the street is quietly cheaper. Receipts pile up, fade, and get thrown away — and the information on them disappears with them.
Zipt fixes that. Take a photo of a receipt and the app extracts every line item — product name, brand, quantity, unit, and price — plus the store, address, branch, and date. That data becomes a living history you can search, chart, and compare. Over time it shows you the real trend behind every product and highlights where you're overpaying.

And it does all of this locally. Zipt has no user accounts and runs no servers. Your receipts, products, budgets, income, and lists are stored only on your device. The one time data leaves your phone is when you scan: the photo is sent to the AI provider you choose using your own API key. No account, no cloud, no ads — just your data, on your phone.
