Ziya is Africa’s first group-native financial platform, designed for communities, not corporations.
How Ziya Works:
- Groups receive a non-refundable grant from partner foundations. Once disbursed, the funds belong to the group.
- Members then rotate this shared fund among themselves — supporting each other’s businesses and households.
- Members return what they used to their group fund, so others can benefit.
- As members cycle funds successfully, they graduate to larger allocations.
- Every member pays a flat subscription fee ($1/month) for app services — no loan charges, no penalties, no interest.
Important Clarification:
- Ziya does not provide personal loans.
- There is no APR (0%), no fees, no penalties.
- What looks like “repayment” is simply members replenishing their group’s shared fund.
Trust & Privacy:
- All user data is protected.
- Ziya is ODPC-authorized for data management.
- A clear privacy policy is available at: https://ziya.co.ke/privacy-policy.html
Why Ziya:
- 95% of women entrepreneurs in Kenya already operate in groups.
- Ziya digitizes what works — trust, rotation, transparency — without exploiting.
- Together, we build resilience, dignity, and shared growth.
