About this app

This is a complete application for IELTS preparation, designed with one main goal: to work entirely offline. You do not need an internet connection to access any of the features. This allows you to study for all four skills—Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing—at any time, in any place.

Offline Speaking Practice
Fluento includes a speaking module that allows you to practice and review your answers without an internet connection.

Offline Transcription: Use the recorder to answer sample IELTS speaking questions. The app uses on-device speech recognition (Vosk) to transcribe your audio into text.

Review Your Recordings: After recording, you can play back your audio and read the transcript at the same time. This helps you check your fluency, find filler words, and notice grammar mistakes.

Save Your History: Every practice session, including both the audio file and the text transcript, is saved locally. You can access your past recordings to see your improvement.

Earn XP for Practice: To help you stay motivated, the app will grant you 5 XP every time you complete a speaking practice that is 60 seconds or longer.

Listening Test Practice
The app includes full-length IELTS listening tests that you can take offline.

Full Test Mode: Take a complete, timed listening test that follows the official exam format (Parts 1-4).

Part-by-Part Practice: If you want to focus on a specific area, you can also choose to practice each part of the listening test individually.

Check Your Answers: After completing a test or practice, you can check your answers against the detailed answer keys provided.

Reading & Writing Resources
The app provides offline materials to help you prepare for the reading and writing sections.

Essay Bank: Access a library of sample essays for Writing Task 2. You can read these to understand how to structure your arguments and what kind of vocabulary to use.

Reading Comprehension: Improve your reading skills by practicing with a collection of short stories included within the app.

Strategy Guides: Read guides on different learning methods and strategies for the reading and writing portions of the exam.

Grammar & Vocabulary
Strengthen your core English skills with these dedicated tools.

Interactive Vocabulary Flashcards: Learn and review essential IELTS vocabulary using a built-in flashcard system.

Complete Grammar Guide: Access a library of grammar lessons, categorized by level (e.g., A1, B1, C1), to help you understand and correct your mistakes.

Track Your Progress
Fluento uses a point system to help you visualize your study habits.

Earn XP and Level Up: You earn Experience Points (XP) for completing activities, such as practicing speaking, finishing a grammar lesson, or marking a day as complete.

Evolve Your Mascot: As you gain levels, your personal mascot will evolve.

Build Your Daily Streak: The app tracks your study consistency. You can mark each day as "learned" to build your daily streak.

Earn Achievements: The app will award you badges for reaching specific milestones, such as "Orator" (for total minutes spoken), "Streak Keeper" (for consistency), or "Grammar Guru" (for lessons completed).

View Your Statistics: A dedicated dashboard shows you all your key stats in one place: your current level, XP, total speaking minutes, words learned, grammar lessons finished, and your current streak.

Goal Setting & Recommendations
Set Your Goal: You can enter your target band score and your planned exam date into the app.

Study Recommendations: Based on your goals and the scores you input, the app will provide simple recommendations on which skills to focus on.
