update-following the "app" connection method simply will not locate the available wifi network. my phone was right next to the aquanot controller, on the 2.4 GHz network,the aquanot will not recognize it. instead, connected "directly" to the controller wifi (not through the app) ,then logging in to the server through a web browser to set up the general wifi network. fiinally worked. It's impossible to alter any "device settings." The MINIMUM VOLTAGE TO CHARGE is zero, look into it.

EDIT: Using the app for setup did not work, but I was able to set it up via laptop without issue. Now that it's been configured, the app works great. Updated review to 4*. Would be very helpful and make customers much happier if you could set it up in the app. Original review: Similar to others, the app crashes before I can add a device. Adds no value despite the extra $$$ I paid

Awful, sorry we paid $700 for this. It was very difficult to connect to our wifi, and you have to ignore the warnings that the site is unsafe and proceed anyway. What takes the cake is that once I finally succeeded, the menu changed over to Spanish, and there is no menu option to select a language at all. The status screen is blank. You can't add a 2nd email address bc you get an error msg. I get a message to clear the cache because the app has a bug. I think it's an infestation of bugs.
