updated: 3 star due to voice quality in sending dir pros: Connected all the time after reboot or switched btw wif and mobile. Issue1: recording only recorded the other party, didn't record the local talker voice on this latest beta. added: someone said it was due to Java ext driver. another driver would record both directions. Issue 2: voice quality issue on sending direction. On Note 5 which is supposed to be powerful enough. I can hear crystal clear voice in receiving but the other party (either cell or landline) always get broken voice even my wifi /LTE is over 10Mbps up/down. I tested the same account with OBI202. voice was crystal clear in both direction. then I suspect it could be due to zoiper software or my Note5. reviewed the settings: it was: setting -> audio: echo cancellation -> ON, Automatci Gain Control filter -> ON Speaker Gain -> 3db Use Less CPU (Lower quality) -> off Audio Driver -> External Java Driver. Then I changed the following both option to: Echo cancellation -> Off Use Less CPU -> ON the voice in both direction became crystal clear. I had to change both options to get better voice for other remote party.
Great and always bettercthan before . I like opus codec on this app
I love an updated user interface, but always have loss of outgoing audio every few minutes, and every time have to restart a call. Will switch back to stable version to verify whether it is my device or provider issue.
After updating with beta version my battery is draining so fast.
Using on 5x stock latest version Android. Is Rick solid stable in a small business environment. Best voip app available at present. Is clunky to switch accounts. If a known number is partly keyed in, have to close keyboard to use it, transfer calls is ugly. Not a lot to do to finish it off note. Well done.
Glad to see that proper bluetooth support is finally making its way into Zoiper! If there's going to be a long delay before it reaches the GA build, it would be really nice to be able to use our G.729 purchase in the beta.
- Fix for Zoiper Widget
- Change Navigation drawer - there is a general Settings section
- Crash fixes
- Lots if minor improvements
