Royal Joker's Doodle Jump spring shoes power-up modifies the base jump height of every normal bounce for a fixed number of jumps after collection. While active, every platform, including moving and crumbling ones, launches the character significantly higher than it would without the power-up.

The spring shoes' effect on different platform types changes how you interact with each. A crumbling platform with spring shoes still breaks after one jump, but that one jump now clears twice the vertical distance, making it more useful as a stepping stone even though it disappears afterward.

On moving platforms, spring shoes reduce the cost of a slightly mistimed landing. Even if you land at the edge of a moving platform's range, the increased bounce height gives you a better arc to reach the platform group above.

Spring shoes eventually expire after a fixed number of jumps. The remaining bounce count is indicated on screen so you know when the power-up is about to run out and can prepare for the transition back to normal jump height.

Unlike the jetpack, spring shoes do not guarantee safety through a difficult section, you still need to navigate platform by platform. But the higher jump ceiling gives more options at each step. Royal Joker is offline with no sign-up needed.
