The Zooniverse is the world’s largest and most popular platform for people-powered research. This research is made possible by volunteers—hundreds of thousands of people around the world who come together to assist professional researchers. Our goal is to enable research that would not be possible, or practical, otherwise. Zooniverse research results in new discoveries, datasets useful to the wider research community, and many publications.

The Zooniverse Mobile App provides push notification updates about our projects, as well as access to our most mobile-friendly projects and publications.

Ratings and reviews

Some of the studies are very technical I suppose you could say. They are always accompanied by a very clear demonstration and you can refer back to the material at any time you aren't sure. It's a brilliant way to participate in science while stuck on the bus in traffic or while you are waiting for your other half to finish getting ready to go out. Anything that would normally feel like wasted time you can quickly, pick up this app and Boom

I have a question - what does out of data mean? Like there is nothing more to analyze or that it has no data at all or something else? I see a lot of these things. Also, is there a chance to have "recent" show projects from the site too? Like a synch between the app and the regular site using the same account? Because i have a lot of free time during the day when i am not at home and i would like to continue with projects i started at home but the app doesn't even show them as an option.

I am helping with the Beta Plastic Litter Project. Whenever I click the field guide or the button to send feedback to developers about the game, it crashes. It is awesome and generally easy to use for the projects that have been adapted for phone. With that said, it needs some updating. The vast majority of the projects are "Out of Data." Even with those that are not Out of data, there are often many pictures that have been completed that they cycle through and have you classify anyways.
